Ponale trail
The “Ponale” is one of the most beautiful and scenic trails in the world, anyone who has walked it will agree! It is an ancient road that connects Riva del Garda to the Ledro valley, offering breathtaking views of Lake Garda and its unspoiled nature. To reach it, you have to follow the coast towards Limone, pass the wonderful hydroelectric power plant designed by Giancarlo Maroni, and take the Gardesana Occidentale road. The path is indicated as “D01“.

From Riva to Torbole
The route that goes from the center of Riva to Torbole allows you to enjoy a quiet ride, the ideal for less trained cyclists and children. The bike path that runs along Lake Garda also winds around Mount Brione, the iconic rocky spur that characterizes the profile of the “Garda Trentino“. This is one of the most loved places by tourists and locals alike, thanks to the beauty of the landscape and the fresh breeze that comes from the lake. Enjoy this itinerary without haste, and take advantage of the many bars along the beach to indulge in a relaxing stop.

From Riva to Arco
Follow the road that leads to Torbole and, once you reach the bridge over the Sarca river, you can take the “Valle dei Laghi” path to reach the beautiful town of Arco.
Nestled between the lake and the mountains, Arco is one of the most beautiful pearls of the Alto Garda region, a true paradise for nature and sports lovers. We recommend you to visit its famous Castle (reachable by bike or on foot), it will leave you speechless!
